Theresa Engelbert, Registered Nurse
Operating Room
Drawn by the hospital’s new, state-of-the-art facility and wide variety of surgical cases, Theresa loves the daily learning opportunities that help her grow as a nurse. She appreciates the “just right” size of Lancaster Medical Center ─ not too big, not too small ─ which gives it a welcoming, community feel and creates a supportive work environment.
Originally from Iowa, Theresa earned her nursing degree at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She now lives in Lancaster County with her husband and three kids and enjoys baking, gardening and staying active with outdoor adventures like hiking and biking. You can often find her cheering on her kids at their soccer games.
Her must-have items for every shift? A trusty pocket notebook for jotting down important notes, two pens (because a backup is a must!) and a good pair of sneakers to keep her moving through busy OR days.
